POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA THESIS

In the last semester of his/her studies, after attending all the courses of the Program of Studies and passing the examination, the student prepares a Master's Thesis (M.D.E.) of 20.000-30.000 words, which must be individual, original, of a research nature and written according to the guidelines of the Department's Thesis Regulations. The language of writing of the postgraduate thesis is Greek.

The Coordinating Committee of the Master's Degree Program appoints the supervisor of the M.D.E. and constitutes the three-member examination committee for its approval. When the student completes his/her thesis and at least two months before the completion of the period of study, he/she submits it to his/her supervisor in electronic and/or paper form. After his/her approval, the thesis is submitted to the other two members of the committee. In order for the thesis to be approved, the student must publicly defend it before the three-member examination committee. The mark of the M.D.E. is the average of the marks of the three graders. In case of a discrepancy between the three grades, the matter is dealt with by the Board.

Up to now, 48 Thesis have been completed.
