During their studies and/or immediately after their completion, students of the MSc have the opportunity to take part in conferences and workshops organised within the framework of the program or by the Department of History and Archaeology. There they participate with original papers or with the results of their M.D.A., while practising the writing and presentation of scientific papers.
The students of Byzantine History participated in biennial conferences organised every two years for the presentation of the M.D.A. of the Department of Byzantine History and the progress of the research of the doctoral candidates of the Department. In 2022 they took part in the "History Days", the meeting of graduate students, doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers of all periods of historical studies, which was established by the Department of History and will be repeated every two years.
Since 2021, students of Byzantine Archaeology have been participating in the biennial scientific symposium "Excavation and Research: from the research work of the Department of Archaeology and Art History of the University of Athens".
