ENTRY TO THE PROGRAM

The Program accepts a) Graduates of the Departments of History and Archaeology of Higher Education Institutions of Higher Education in Greece or similar, recognized by the D.O.A.A.T.A.A.P, institutions abroad, b) graduates of other Departments of Higher Education Institutions of the national territory or similar, recognized abroad, c) holders of a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies of other Departments (relevant to the subject in which they wish to specialize). The maximum number of students admitted is nine (9) per specialisation, eighteen (18) in total.

The announcement for the admission of postgraduate students to the program is published every May. Selection is made by written examinations and oral interviews, which are held at the end of September each year. The necessary supporting documents, the manner in which the examinations are conducted and the provisions for special categories of candidates are detailed in the founding decision and the approved Program Operating Regulations.

Candidates are asked to prepare the material proposed in the file relating to their chosen specialisation on History or Archaeology.
